Marcia Mediation was founded by Michael Lister , litigation lawyer and former managing partner of north west business law firm MLP solicitors and Marcia Lister, family lawyer, accredited family mediator, and work place mediator.
A family business itself it understands the “family” element in every business, small or large, family owned or not and how these emotional elements can be harnessed to promote a senses of wellbeing, mutual ambition and success in the work place.
Marcia Mediation in business comprises a team of mediators, mentors ,coaches and trainers headed by co founders Michael Lister and Marcia Lister.
A particular focus for the week is on families who are going through separation, and on how mediators can help to encourage collaboration and a productive approach to that process.
Mediation exists to help overcome these kinds of conflicts by making sure everyone’s voice is heard from the outset, in a low-stress environment, with a view towards making positive progress in the case.
The obvious implication of a high return rate to court is simply that court cases do not have a high success rate at resolving these kinds of family dispute – so how does mediation help?
