The business started with the director, Stephen Brannan in 2004, initially working from a small home office he provided support to a small number of schools. As the years past Stephen's good reputation spread and more and more schools seeked his support. As the business grew steadily and the use of IT developed in schools along with the need for issues to be addressed quickly and efficiently it became clear that there were just not enough hours in the day! Stephen's brother-in-law Paul McFarlane to the rescue!
2010 was then a very important year for us, Paul joined the business and brought with him many years of PC hardware expertise. Rather than using 3rd party PC manufacturers we could now build and supply our own computers to our customers meaning we could support both the hardware and software meaning better service to our customers. With Paul in the team this also meant working from home was not practical so we rented our first business premises in Delph which we used as an internal workshop and a base.
In 2013 we moved to larger premises on the High Street in Uppermill and opened our showroom and workshop to the public. Our successful business continued to grow and demands on Stephen & Paul's time to be onsite with customers increased. We needed office support hence Paul's daughter Megan McFarlane joined the business in 2014. Megan is now a crucial member of the team and runs the shop, looks after all the business administration and is a point of contact for all customers.
We must be doing something right!!!! More and more schools and businesses seek our support. Providing an excellent service with a prompt responce has always been important to us, we never want to over commit our services to a point where we can't deliver. So that we could meet our growing needs Craig Robinson joined the team in 2016, Craig brought with him 5 years experience of providing IT support to schools and a heap of enthusiasm, he is a great asset to the team.
We are a small family business based in a pretty little village of Uppermill in Saddleworth. This is our main base and consists of a showroom with plenty of products including custom made desktop computers through to smaller items such as USB cables. There is also a workshop which we use to provide excellent after sales support and provide customers with a repair and upgrade service; this deals with anything IT related including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile phones and tablets.
Outside of the showroom and workshop, we provide IT support to schools and businesses which includes hardware and software support along with guidance and advice to support your use of IT.
