To assure you of our professional approach and service, in 2013 we were very proudly granted full membership to the FMB. The FMB only grant membership to builders who meet the strictest standards of workmanship and business practice, and to ensure that we have met these requirements, we are required to undergo regular inspections from the British Board of Agrement (BBA), an independent and impartial organisation. The FMB badge indicates a construction company of the highest personal and professional integrity.
Your building project is too important to be left to chance – choosing an FMB-registered builder ensures credibility due to the strict membership criteria, and code of practice that is required. We feel that our membership adds great value to our company and creates the essential peace of mind for our customers.
A Government backed initiative to help consumers find reliable and trustworthy builders and specialist tradespeople to carry out all works associated with the RMI (repair, maintenance and improvement) sector, and as with our FMB membership, in 2013 we were very proudly granted full membership to the TrustMark organisation.
It is also a requirement for each member to sign up to the TrustMark code of practice that includes insurance, good health and safety practices and customer care; and in the event that a problem or disagreement arises, there is a clear and user-friendly complaints procedure to help resolve the issue.
Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)
Brittonhall Construction are also proud FSB members, and again, have been since 2013. The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to protect and promote the FSB and small businesses. With more than 200,000 members, the FSB is a powerful lobbying organisation representing small firms to national, local and devolved government.
Company Contract Policy
BrittonHall Construction provides all customers with a contract containing a clear definition of the works specification, in a Plain English building contract before work starts. This avoids any misunderstandings on site when the project is underway, which allows us to progress the job, safe in the knowledge that no-one is in doubt about the work covered, its value, obligations, payment timings, defects, warranties, dispute resolution and more.
The FMB Approved Contract is presented to you in a professional, easy to understand format and provides you with written confirmation of exactly what you are expecting in the finished job and what our obligations are as your construction company.
Brittonhall Construction Ltd has active cover of 5 million Public Liability Insurance, and 10 million Employers Liability Insurance, both policies provided by The Federation of Master Builders.
