ABOUT KLV FOUNDATION LIMITED

Created by Social Entrepreneur Kraig Valentino, KLV Foundation exists to inspire and support people of all ages within East London who have experienced or are experiencing exclusion or some form of disadvantage. This includes the most vulnerable such as those who suffered from domestic violence, drug or alcohol abuse, poverty, positive HIV diagnosis, homelessness, mental illness, bullying and young mothers.

KLV Foundation achieves this by delivering short courses which provide creative ways to empower people to better themselves, develop self esteem and receive development opportunities.

The primary aim of our projects is to empower people through encouraging them to take ownership of their lives, thereby avoiding isolation, deterring them from anti-social behaviours and developing confidence to make a positive change; we will help them channel their energies in the right direction. We also offer various workshops geared towards helping people secure employment, further their education or become entrepreneurs.

2 have received some additional office based work experience at KLV Foundation and we have had subsequent requests for further workshops as a result of positive word of mouth from 2015 participants

KLV Philosophy

Founded in September 2014, the KLV Foundation is a new, lottery-funded, non-profit organisation designed to support people struggling with a wide range of issues: mental health, drugs or alcohol abuse, poverty, homelessness and/or living with HIV. Through our work we intend to inspire and encourage participants to recognize that regardless of their socio-economic or personal disadvantaged, they can reach their fullest potential and learn new skills.
