Hello and welcome to New Forest Fabrics,

I’d like to say that I learnt to sew at my mother’s knee but that simply wasn’t the case! No-one in my family had an interest in sewing, knitting or anything else remotely crafty for that matter so it has remained a mystery as to where my passion came from. I took dressmaking at school and thoroughly enjoyed the experience but at home it was patchwork and quilting that took up my time. I started with English paper piecing of hexagons and quickly discovered log cabin which remains my all time favourite block.

I started my business online in order to develop a selection of beautiful fabric for the discerning quilter, dressmaker or home decor enthusiast. I now have a shop at 2 Purlieu Court, Beaulieu Road, Dibden Purlieu for anyone who would rather select their fabric in person.

Here at New Forest Fabrics we aim to supply you with beautiful fabrics from the most exciting design houses and artists around today. Our goal is to help you as much as possible. If you can’t see what you’re after then please get in touch as stock will be arriving every week and if we don’t have it then we’ll try our best to get it for you.
