Eneteq Services Ltd specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of heat networks. The company was formed in 2013 by its two directors, Richard Johnson and Colin Taylor, both of whom have a wealth of experience in the district heating industry.
Our close partnership with Powerpipe Systems AB, the leading pre-insulated pipe manufacturer in Sweden, enables us to provide a full UK-based district heating turnkey offering from initial consultancy through to commercial & technical modelling, design, product installation and commissioning and full life cycle maintenance services.
Co-founder of the business, Richard has a strong record of delivering growth in specialist construction businesses focused on building long term collaborative relationships with customers and suppliers. His management career developed rapidly with a blue chip main contractor before identifying the opportunity to form a district heating business.
Co-founder of the business, Colin developed his detailed technical experience of district energy by leading multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver practical and commercially viable heat networks. As a well-respected voice within the district heating industry, his experience includes many of the UK’s largest and most prestigious heat networks.
A safe, reliable and enthusiastic construction professional who understands how to deliver high quality district heating projects on time and on budget. Tim is customer facing and responsible for all operational aspects of the business once work is secured.
A very practical construction professional with extensive main contractor experience gained leading pre-construction operations in the renewable energy sector. Paul is responsible for all pre-construction operations and their integration with the operational business.
A competent and thorough district heating designer with extensive experience working for some of the UK’s largest energy businesses. Stoyan is responsible for the in house design team and their integration with the operational business.

Eneteq Services Ltd are accredited to the Safecontractor Scheme and has passed the audit into health and safety procedures and documentation of contractors. Eneteq is verified as Civil Engineering Contractor, Principal Contractor with the ability to sub-contract in the district heating industry.
Eneteq Services Ltd are a member of Constructionline, the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service. This is a database of pre-qualified contractors assessed through a standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI). This offers an assurance to our customers of our professionalism and capabilities.
Eneteq Services Ltd is also a member of the ukDEA which promotes district energy and is a not for profit association of companies and public sector organisations who have an involvement or an interest in district energy schemes.
As an approved Powerpipe contractor, Eneteq is evaluated regularly to ensure compliance with processes and procedures is maintained. This ensures the high quality standards of the pre-insulated pipe manufacturing process is maintained throughout installation and commissioning.
Eneteq is an approved partner of Mittel who are based in Umea, Sweden and our preferred supplier of an electrofusion joint. This provides Eneteq with the most comprehensive and secure jointing technology currently available on the market.
Product Training
Eneteq Services Ltd recognises the contribution employees make to the success of the company. We also recognise that to maintain a committed and competent workforce, we need to ensure that we continue to provide market leading training and development for all employees.
As a result of these in house competencies and continuing development, Eneteq Services are authorised to provision Mittel and Powerpipe training in the UK. This service can also be extended to the auditing of installation by others to ensure compliance with the required manufacturers recommendations and requirements.

Feedback is actively encouraged to maintain the cycle of continuous improvement. Moreover, all subcontractors engaged by Eneteq are expected to adhere to our policies and we operate robust pre-qualification questionnaires to ensure this is maintained.
Eneteq is committed to sustainability and is continuously mindful of the wider impacts of its business and activities. Specific environmental risk management plans are developed for sites, team members are trained in their deployment and all plant and equipment is selected with due environmental consideration. A key consideration if our choice of head office location was the business park’s philosophy towards recycling and its local sustainability policy.
