ABOUT SHINING STARS NURSERY (APPLEBY) LIMITED

The aim of our nursery is to provide a safe secure environment where your child can learn through play. All our learning and care requirements are based on the 0-5 Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Activities are planned from the seven areas of learning and development to promote a range of skills and learning opportunities following your child’s interests. The nursery also adheres to the statutory welfare requirements. We aim to provide an environment where both children and parents are happy, relaxed and comfortable. Shining Stars Nursery (Appleby) Ltd Policies & Procedures along with the Ofsted Inspection Report of Biggins Day Nursery (which is run by the same management team) are working documents and are available to you at any time. Please ask to read and sign them. We have a comments, compliments and complaints box, in the entrance hall and your comments are most welcome.

We operate an open door policy at the nursery and welcome prospective parents at any time. However it is always helpful if you call to let us know you are coming, because occasionally we all go out for a walk or on trips. This enables us to spend time showing you around and give you as much information as possible.
