Andy’s extensive senior level experience in local government has led to a passion to use his skills, knowledge and contacts to support the transformation of public services through practical collaboration across agencies. As Assistant Chief Executive at Leicestershire County Council for 12 years he led on place based service transformation, total place and community budgets, economic development and communities. He has a strong commitment to improving public services – better services at lower cost – and has used his extensive knowledge of public services and strong interpersonal skills to effect change while working for a local authority. He is now using his knowledge and skills to help agencies design and implement the change they want to achieve with assignments for major local authorities and voluntary sector agencies covering EU funding, organisational development, impact assessment and health and social care policy.
