Here at Lickety Split, we believe in giving excellent service with a smile in a nice, clean place to relax and have fun. We are a local family run business and have a very strong family ethic. We continue to strive for top quality, using artisan, multiple award winning ice cream, produced here on the premises, alongside ingredients and products from the local area and across the globe.
We have been nominated for more than 50 awards including the 2012 orange business awards, locally we are 3 times winners of the East Durham Business Awards and 2 times runners up in the same awards. We have 2 Sun-fm Business Awards to our name and 1 runners up position. We also finished runner up in the Echo Portfolio Awards, and won an award for our Wedding Package with national magazine Belle Bridal. Nationally we are 2016 national ice cream competition 1st place winners for our cookies ice cream and 2017 1st place winners for our Tahitian vanilla, and have gold and bronze medals for our delicious ice cream made on site. We also have various great taste awards and diplomas for our ice cream. Coast magazine have on 3 occasions named us in the top ten ice cream parlours in the country.
Cindy was the founding partner of Lickety Split Creamery and it is down to her that you can now visit your favourite venue in Seaham. Cindys background is varied and she is a very creative person. She is a qualified and experienced dressmaker, hairdresser and business owner. She has high customer service expectations after 22 years in the field. Cindy is very approachable and loves speaking to customers.
