Founded in early 2012 by brothers Richard and Jamie Corbridge, Shutts Farm Machinery is based in the idyllic setting of Bakewell in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, renowned for its stunning scenery and rich agricultural land. Richard and Jamie are both multi-business entrepreneurs - Richard runs a grassland contracting business and the family farm, while Jamie is a trained JCB and VALTRA engineer and runs an engineering business.
Together in spring 2012 they started Shutts Farm Machinery Ltd and formed a partnership with Finnish machinery manufacturer ELHO, importing and selling their products such as Mower Conditioners, Bale Wrappers and Mulchers. After a productive first season the business was named ELHO official UK, England, Scotland and Wales importer and continues to grow. Summer 2013 also saw the first ROC merger to be sold by the company, this was then to follow with sole UK importership for the Italian brand ROC as from the start of 2014.
