Safeguarding Children Training and Consultancy Ltd has been delivering services on a range of safeguarding children issues to practitioners working with children and their families across the UK for over 12 years.
Our courses are practice based, motivational and inspiring. Participants receive a robust and effective learning experience which helps them learn new information and skills and reflect on, develop and enhance their existing practice. Our clients include social care, health, education, early years’ services, youth services, the police, probation, voluntary services, charitable organisations, and two national regulatory ombudsmen. We also work in partnership with organisations such as NSPCC, Basis Yorkshire, Safe and Sound Enterprises (Derby), Reed Global, Child Protection Training UK and several Local Safeguarding Children Boards.
Our training and consultancy starts from the core principles of helping our clients develop best professional standards that focus on achieving positive outcomes; and developing innovative ways of delivering services that makes a difference to the families and children that they work with. We have a consistently high evaluation record, with many clients returning to us year after year for further training and consultancy services. Safeguarding Children Training and Consultancy was established by Adele Gladman, an experienced safeguarding children trainer and consultant. Adele is a qualified solicitor who became involved in practice development and training after a secondment working on a Home Office research and development pilot working with young women suspected to be involved in sexual exploitation. Following that, Adele worked for a number of years for Kirklees Safeguarding Children Board as their learning and development manager. In 2009 Adele launched her own business, designing and delivering safeguarding children services. She has worked across the UK with a range of services including social care, education, the police and health services. Adele has also continued direct work with young people, adult survivors of abuse, and their families.

Our services always start with a meeting to explore your needs and requirements. We will always provide updates and consultations throughout the piece of work, and make recommendations on anything eternal to the service that we are providing that could be enhanced or improved. We also offer a final meeting to take you through any of our findings and recommendations; and help you explore how these can best be implemented.
Our consultancy services can be charged at a fixed price, hourly or daily rate. We will always provide you with a written proposal and quotation before you decide to engage us.
