I have been an independent housing consultant since 2008, with my 20 years experience in the housing sector spanning the corporate sector, housing associations, Scottish Homes and Local Government in a range of research, policy, development roles. I led the affordable housing policy and research business as Associate Director at DTZ in Edinburgh before leaving to establish Anna Evans Housing Consultancy.
My core skills are in qualitative research, policy analysis. option appraisal and strategy/service review and development. I am able to analyse and cut through large volumes of complex data, and help client answer the “So What?” question. I present findings and advice in a clear and concise way to a range of audiences. I like to leave clients with practical and deliverable plan – one that can make a difference to people and their living environments. I have acted as a interim manager for a number of housing associations and local authorities so I understand about the realities of service delivery.
