Mission Statement

Formed in 2003 to specialise in defending personal injury claims, we provide a pragmatic, flexible and focused approach to dispute resolution.

DGB Principal, Debbie Black trained at Weightmans and spent 14 years at DLA Piper, before leaving to establish her own firm. She has vast experience of defending all types of claim but has a particular specialism in defending marine-related employers’ and public  liability claims both pleasurecraft and commercial, acting for insurers, P&I Clubs and private companies to government departments and uninsured defendants. She also advises clients on implementing risk management strategies.

We pride ourselves on putting together the best possible team for each case – working in this way with our experts lets us make the most of our experience and expertise, whilst being flexible and cost effective.
