Amanda Brown MRTPI has been a Chartered Town Planner for over 20 years working for councils and developers across the country. Since becoming a HMO landlord herself in 2006, has now specialises in helping other HMO landlords negotiate the ever evolving planning and licensing system through applications, certificates, appeals and challenging enforcement notices. As part of your mentoring programme, Amanda will be able to assist and make sense of your planning applications for your future investments. Amanda’s advice and approach is commercial, direct and robust. She advises as if it is her own money at stake! Amanda loves to travel and also enjoys keeping fit.
Stephen has over 13 years of experience working in the financial services sector, nearly 10 of which as a financial adviser. During your mentoring programme you will have the use of all our experts and this includes Stephen. He is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide independent financial advice and specialise in pensions & investments. Stephen has helped hundreds of private and corporate clients over the years achieve their retirement and investment objectives. When not working, Stephen enjoys being outdoors spending quality time with his family.
Peter is a fundamental part of Nick Fox’s group of companies. Peter works closely with Nick on current and future projects ensuring that procedures and protocol are adhered to along with contributing his vast business knowledge to ensure the success of the companies. Previously, Peter was Managing Director of PRG-Shultz a procurement audit specialist company. He oversaw the operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this role, Peter was Executive Vice President for Mothercare USA based in New York; Human Resources Director for House of Fraser and Managing Director for Dolcis, Cable and Co and Bertie. Peter has 2 grown-up sons and is often found on the green working his way up to the all-important 19th hole!
Tina looks after the day-to-day finance including payroll across all of Nick’s business. Tina left university with a degree in contract law, and worked within fraud investigation, where she continued my studies within accountancy. Tina moved to Germany for 6 months and then to Spain for 18 months. After being made redundant in 2000, she set up the company, Thomas and Seymour where the company took on a number of different clients working within construction, property development and rentals. Tina runs and swims on a daily bases and horse rides often. She is currently is a Divemaster in Scuba diving, and is currently training to be a PADI scuba instructor.
James advises Nick on trends in the property market and specialises in rental, capital valuations & releasing equity for investment. James started his property career 20 years ago buying, selling and developing property to maximise potential. This combined with seven years of commercial business management dealing with freehold & leasehold properties puts James in an ideal position to be able to advise on property trends together with market direction & movement. James is married with two children. When he is not devoting his time to following the latest trends of the property market, he has a passion for cooking & eating out.
