Mills Training
It is the view of Mills training that First Aid should be taught to all, and form part of the School Curriculum being taught in all Secondary Schools. People who work in Care Homes, Nursery’s, Schools or are involved in sports clubs would benefit greatly by taking part in a First Aid training course. It would give them both the skills and the confidence to deal with any incidents that require the expertise of a First Aider.
The ability to provide CPR / First Aid assistance is a skill that can help a colleague, friend, family member or stranger. In any walk of life you may find yourself in a situation where you need to provide emergency care for someone. You as a trained First Aider may keep someone alive, prevent by your actions, permanent or long term disabilities or help in reducing recovery time for that person.
All First Aid Courses Offered by Mills training are delivered by qualified First Aid Instructors or Instructor Trainers. All course content complies with the UK Resuscitation Council basic life support protocols and are based on Instructor led delivery. Courses designated ‘At Work’ or ‘In the Workplace’ are approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to cover the statutory needs of employers within the Health and Safety (Fist Aid) Regulations 1981.
