PR&W was formed in 2013 by David Penney, Peter Ruddy and Jeff Winter, who has since left the company. Peter and David previously worked together as Independent Financial Advisers and developed an extremely productive relationship, based on client care and highly technical advice. We identified the opportunity for growing a successful financial planning business and formed PR&W.
Our team includes two financial planners, each with different skills and fields of expertise, and both holding Chartered titles. PR&W also employs a Chartered Wealth Manager to carry out our investment research. We provide advice to clients with total assets in excess of £175 million. We are truly independent, with no outside influences.
Peter started his career at the General Accident. In 1977, Peter Ruddy & Partners was registered at Companies House. After 30 very successful years, Peter sold his business to an IFA in London, but continued to work as a self-employed consultant until 2013.Peter is a very well respected individual within the financial services industry and many of his clients are from within our industry.
Peter is a keen sportsman and a member of the MCC. Peter’s City connections include being a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Bowyers and having the Freedom of the City of London.
