Having worked with a number of blue chip organisations, Steve was a founder of an Executive Search and Business Consultancy company which he sold in 2001. He then moved into the fostering and social and healthcare sector, where he has assisted small, medium and large independent organisations to develop their exit strategies to maximise the value of their companies and unlock the true worth of their businesses when dealing with national trade and PE/VC backed purchasers, as well as more regional acquirers. Steve has been involved across the industry having lead vendors in their disposal across fostering, domiciliary care and more recently in the mental health sector.
John is a qualified accountant who, after spending 6 years in a business development role in the staffing sector working in France and the US as well as the UK,
joined Careforce (now Mears Care) in 2001. As a progressive Finance Director, he was part of the management team that grew this local homecare provider from regional 2 branch operation to a national provider with 52 branches over just a 9 year period. During this time he completed 32 acquisitions and managed the IPO on AiM to provide greater opportunities for raising acquisition finance.
More recently John has been involved in developing local independent domiciliary, LD and mental health care providers to maximise their business potential through financial, operational and business analysis. John has unrivalled experience of capitalising on your true business potential as well as knowing all the tricks of the trade that potential purchasers may attempt to utilise to reduce the purchase price !!
Philippa has over 25 years of senior management experience within the Social Care & Housing Sector focussing across the dom care, LD and mental health arenas. Having previously worked for two national provider organisations as a Director of Operations, Service Excellence and Business Development, Philippa provides the warm hand holding, mentoring and coaching support to owners and managers of businesses within the sector. Whether it’s through developing the business for growth, tendering (84% current success rate and climbing), maintaining or achieving standards of excellence, securing long term sustainability or preparing your business for sale, Philippa has the knowledge and experience of all levels within the business.
