Box-it Central was established in 1997 by Leslie Evans, who still owns and operates the company from its fully secure facility located on the outskirts of Warwick. The company offers an extensive range of document management services, all of which are facilitated from Box-it Central’s own site, including shredding, storage, scanning and electronic document processing through the Omnidox hosted service. The business has successfully attained the quality standard ISO 9001:2008 and environmental standard ISO 14001:2004.
Facilities include spacious, clean, humidity-controlled storage for secure document archiving for which specialist boxes in a variety of sizes can be provided. All boxes are bar-coded for efficient retrieval and tracking. There has also been substantial investment in a powerful, state-of-the-art shredding facility installed on-site, giving Box-it Central the scope to offer a total management solution throughout every stage of a document’s lifespan, from collection through to destruction. Whilst Box-it Central offers an extensive range of document management services, we are able to do so securely. Our storage, scanning and data destruction services benefit from a range of measures including access controlled personnel doors, intruder alarms, smoke detection and the latest digital CCTV covering the site. In addition to the physical security measures at the site we also have fleet tracking on all our vehicles providing us with real time knowledge on where your data is. Our electronic data storage is hosted and backed up securely on servers based in the UK.

Box-it Central is pleased to be supporting The Myton Hospices throughout 2017/18. As our nominated charity, we will be taking part in a wide range of fundraising activities to support the wonderful work of The Myton Hospices. We hope you will support us to raise ‘Money for Myton’ as the charity celebrates 35 years of outstanding patient care.
The Myton Hospices has to raise over £8 million each year to continue providing life-enhancing care to people within our community. Last year, it supported more than 1400 people and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire, via its three hospices in Coventry, Warwick and Rugby, as well as patient and family support services provided through Myton at Home.
While The Myton Hospices provide end of life care, it is also pointed out that 50% of patients return home, and that not all patients have cancer. There are some very touching patient stories published on the charity’s website
It may come as a surprise to learn just how many different services The Myton Hospices provides. The hospices in Coventry and Warwick have inpatient units, and also provide day care, while Rugby is a day hospice only. All three are supported by teams of trained healthcare professionals and volunteers. Myton at Home is a 24/7 home service giving people the precious support they need in their final weeks and days, in the comfort of familiar surroundings. Other patient services include occupational therapy, physiotherapy, Lymphoedema services, complimentary therapy and spiritual care.
All of Myton’s services are provided free of charge, and they rely on the support of local businesses and the community to raise the money they need to provide their care. That is why, the entire team at Box-it Central will be pulling out all the stops to raise money for this amazing charity. We will keep you updated on all our fundraising activities over the next 12 months for The Myton Hospices.
