James Pyle & Co was established in late 2012 and has grown rapidly, largely by recommendation and word of mouth. We are a family owned, and wholly independent, business offering a modern approach to Estate Agency and dealing with all aspects of residential sales and lettings. We have a great and experienced team with bags of enthusiasm. Our ethos is to provide a first class service for each and every client with an emphasis on traditional values, yet using the latest technology to ensure your property has maximum exposure to the whole of the market.

We pride ourselves on our local knowledge, although the internet now allows to provide national coverage and to reach the four corners of the world using sites such as Rightmove, Zoopla and Primelocation.

Estate Agency is changing and moving away from the traditional High Street and we believe we are one of the pioneers of this change. Our original office is based in the delightful village of Sherston and yet modern agency has allowed us to become a leading Estate Agent in the Cotswolds. We have recently opened our second office, in Painswick, positioning us perfectly for Stroud and the Five Valleys. We can provide a full range of property services in the counties of Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.

Our offices are open during traditional office hours yet we are often available outside of the traditional working day as our telephones are answered 7 days a week until late.

James Pyle

For over 25 years, James has been integrally involved with some of the best independent estate agents in the UK and has personally established and run offices in the market towns of Stroud, Nailsworth, Malmesbury, Corsham and Marlborough selling all kinds of properties throughout Gloucestershire and Wiltshire where he is well known to many. His determination to succeed and provide a first class and enthusiastic service to all his clients has been at the forefront of his business ethics but the biggest strength is the genuinely warm, friendly and professional approach that the team offers all to of our clients.

James founded James Pyle & Co in 2012, initially running from a home office however the business has quickly grown to what it is today thanks largely to his great team. James is married to Sam and has two teenage daughters. He loves photography and enjoys walking his dogs to unwind. A keen 'boules' player he is active in many Sherston activities and his ambition is to explore world on his motorcycle and in particular, to ride the Old Silk Road from London to Beijing.
