I am a self-taught woodworker with a fascination for timber, from the way it looks to how it moves and misbehaves. I started my career at an artisan garden room company, beginning at entry level with no experience, working my way up to become a director of the firm.
With 15 years of knowledge under my belt, and having gained a broad understanding of timber, bifold door gearing and glass, I decided to start my own company in November 2004. Simplicity was established so that I could create unique products that would complete people’s homes in the style they deserve. My love for this craft strengthens itself with each passing year and each specialised project I am fortunate enough to be involved in.
We’re proud to be a small family business, and are even prouder of our handcrafted bespoke joinery. We create bespoke curved, corner-less and straight bi-fold door systems using our enviable knowledge of timber and folding sliding door gearing, combined with a passion for bespoke design.
