We specialise in developing electronic products for many varied markets such as consumer products, automotive electronic controllers….
Electronics Product Development
We recently won a contract to develop a whole range of products for a client that distributes hydroponics equipment. We developed 5 different products to functioning prototypes within an 8 month period, including full industrial design, PCB, software and custom LCDs.
We recently developed and supplied a volume product to a customer that distributes wholesale hydroponics equipment. This was a full development project with all tasks completed in-house (specifications, schematics, PCB layout, firmware development, LCD design, enclosure design, retail packaging, supplier sourcing and volume supply).
MookLight (patent pending) is a smart ceiling rose/light fitting for domestic and industrial applications. It has been designed as a direct replacement for conventional loop in the light fixtures requiring no special wiring making it easy to install/replace. The unit is a Wi-Fi access point and can be connected to directly by mobile phone app or form a network connected to the domestic wireless hub. The light can also be controlled conventionally via the wall switch should the need arise.
Probably one of the most important aspects of any electronic design is the way it looks, a modern product needs to be appealing visually as well as functional, we recognised a long time ago that it is of paramount importance to get this part right early in the design process as it drives the design of what goes inside the enclosure too. This also impacts the HMI (Human Machine Interface) of any product, getting the display right, the colours right, the control interface right and the contours right can mean the difference between a good product and a great product. We have the skills to design enclosures for form and function as well as design for manufacture using various CAD systems.
During the development of electronics there comes a point when you need a physical part to demonstrate to a potential customer or just to gain confidence that all your parts fit together as you intended. We invested in rapid prototype equipment for this purpose, so whether you want to include this in the design process or you just need a part 3D printed we can help.
Once you’ve designed your product, or as part of your feasibility process you need to know what your design will cost to make and depending on your volumes will determine the best place to have your product manufactured. We have contacts in various countries around the world and the UK where we have established strong working relationships to provide excellent quality and competitive pricing. We can work with you on a consultancy basis assisting you to get your product off the ground or be your supplier.
