Who we are
TIVA+ (Training in Vaccine Administration Plus) is an organisation based in the North East of England which specialises in all aspects of Immunisation Training for registered and non registered healthcare professionals.
TIVA+ was set up in 2012 in response to the absence of specialist training for healthcare support workers aiming to become competent immunisers. Our team is led by an immunisation nurse specialist and draws on the services of experienced practice nurses to support the delivery of its training courses.
TIVA+ has the benefit of 30 years of immunisation experience and expertise from within the NHS and Public Health England. Our training is informative, interactive and fun; providing the perfect combination of theory and practical training to keep participants consistently engaged. Participants will leave our sessions confident, knowledgeable and up- to -date on all aspects of immunisations.

TIVA+ recognises that an effective immunisation service depends on staff being suitably skilled and qualified so provides training to ensure health professionals involved in immunisation, in any capacity, are trained to:
Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the diseases and the vaccines to their patients
