Nicole founded Apple Fundraising Consultants in 2012, bringing with her nearly two decades of public policy, think tank and capital campaign fundraising experience. Her recent clients have included the Centre for Policy Studies; HMS Beagle Trust; the Adam Smith Institute; The Bitcoin Foundation; Create Streets; the Global Alliance for Rabies Control; the Austrian Economics Center; Edinburgh Business School; Somerville College, University of Oxford; Prince's Foundation for Building Community; The Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education - Economics Institute (CERGE-EI); and the Legatum Institute.
Under Nicole’s leadership and through her intimate knowledge of the philanthropic sector, Apple Fundraising regularly secures six and seven figure donations for its clients. Because her own fundraising experience is so unique – including in-depth knowledge of United States foundations, high-net-worth individuals and Anglo-American relationships– she continues to help many of her clients to secure significant grants and donations from international donors, thereby raising their sights and increasing their fundraising targets.
Before starting her own consultancy, Nicole served as a Senior Consultant for Compton Fundraising Consultants from 2009 to 2012, where she undertook a range of challenging assignments for such diverse organisations as the University of St Andrews; St George’s Hanover Square; University of Bradford; Diocese of London; Edinburgh Business School and UCL School of Pharmacy. Prior to this, Nicole worked for a number of United States think tanks and foundations and two presidential campaigns.
