E J Dayment Construction is managed by Eddie Dayment and Joanne Werb. Eddie has been in the building trade for over 30 years and leads a team of fully trained skilled craftsmen and tradesmen.
Having completed site training in the South Hams, Eddie set up his building business during the early eighties and has completed many projects, including the Folaton Estate of 180 new homes, 75 homes in Foxhole nr St Austell and over 32 new homes in Totnes including waterfront apartments. In the late nineties he completed work on the Highfield Estate, Dunkeswell where he helped to develop a new estate of over 500 homes and a community hall, shops and industrial units.
Projects have included extensive work on Dunkeswell aerodrome and surrounding industrial buildings and hangers. In more recent years he has constructed and fitted out new buildings for Lyme Bay Winery, Complete Meats, a new shop and garden store at Mole Avon Town & Country Store, Axminster and developed a new business park of thirteen start-up business units in Colyton.
Joanne is the finance manager and is responsible for ensuring that all the administration and office management is carried out to a high standard. Having trained in advertising design, Joanne also manages the marketing of the company. She has previous experience working within the field of business development training, where she was responsible for coordinating global training programmes and working on the production of training literature.
