I undertook Major Review for the QAA leading on the quality assurance of Nursing, Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (HV & SN), Community Specialist Practice Nursing (PN & DN) programmes and was the specialist lead for learning resources in academic and practice settings. In collaboration with higher education providers I have developed and commissioned innovative academic multidisciplinary education programmes.
Production of a suite of Child Health training packages, parenting resources and resources for schools led me into the development of e-learning programmes in the areas of Record Keeping, Use of Bedrails, Falls Awareness, Urinary Catheter Use and Management, Nutrition as well as bespoke e-learning programmes for Understanding Health Improvement (leading to the RSPH Level 2 award) as well as on-line learning for community Pharmacists.
As a professional provider of training and development services, I have over thirty years working in the NHS and almost ten years within private and third sector organisations. Experienced in leading learning initiatives, I work locally within the East Midlands, nationally and strategically with third sector organisations.
Added value comes from my breadth of work in delivering training to CCG Commissioners, NHS Trusts and provider services staff at all levels within the NHS, Local Authority and Third sector.
My philosophy is to work closely with you and your partners to develop the learning initiative that best meets your needs and service ambitions. This may be through face to face short course delivery, cascade training utilising your own staff through Train the Tutor events or e-learning enabling flexible access to learning.
