Having worked in the glazing industry for ten years, Matthew founded The GlassSmith in 2010. With a focus on providing top quality workmanship along with excellent customer service, we have grown steadily, building a solid reputation with much of our work coming from customer recommendations.
We have built up a large portfolio of work, ranging from simple repairs through to large bespoke glass projects. We are happy to assist in the design process and can provide samples of all glass types, including splashbacks.
Our recent move to new premises will allow us to develop further, and with the planned creation of a showroom, customers will be able to view our full range of glass products.

The GlassSmith Ltd is a family run business offering a full range of glass and glazing services from straightforward window repair to bespoke glass installations. Based in St. Albans, we cover Hertfordshire and the surrounding area and also travel across the country for commercial glass projects.
With over fifteen years' experience in the glass industry, our fully trained glaziers provide a professional fitting service and can advise on current safety requirements and glass standards to meet building regulations. We are also FENSA registered uPVC installers. Both domestic and trade customers are welcome.
In addition to splashbacks for kitchens and bathrooms (also known as back-painted glass or glass cladding), shower screens, mirrors, Juliet balconies & balustrades, we offer a wide variety of other products and services.
