Kate’s vast experience spans a number of industry sectors. She began working in business-to-business marketing for a component supplier to the electronics and computer industry before taking up the position of PR Manager and then progressing to Brand Manager for well-known hotel chain, Jurys Inn, UK and Ireland. Following this, Kate moved to Sydney to work as PR Officer for The Irish Tourist Board. On her return she joined American media owner, Viacom, to head up the marketing for Ireland and Northern Ireland with responsibility for all marketing communications, research and event management. Now settled in the UK, Kate has worked freelance for PR agencies and marketing consultancies as well as independently with a range of clients – from architectural firms to training, international service companies to healthcare. Cloud Nine was established by Kate almost 10 years ago. Her depth of experience, combined with creative and strategic mindset, continues to bring endless success for clients.
A journalist by profession, Sandra has written features for a range of national media. She boasts over 10 years writing for national newspapers – Sun, Mail, Guardian, Times, Mirror, Express among others, and lots of national magazines. She is very experienced with real life stories and lifestyle features but also has good grounding in hard news stories. She has worked for both press and a radio station in a marketing capacity and was Press Officer (temporary – covering maternity leave) for East Sussex County Council. She has also worked for a diverse range of clients from Brighton and Hove Economic Partnership, Amex, an IT company, as well as working freelance for several PR agencies before joining Cloud Nine PR.
Nancy later relocated to France to renovate an old farmhouse and pursue a career in freelance journalism, with features published in Beautiful Kitchens, Build It, Business Green and France magazine. She also ran a free paper for English expats in the Limousin region.
On returning to the UK, she worked on the re-launch of a local title and edited a luxury lifestyle and business magazine before joining Cloud Nine PR.
Sheriden joins the Cloud Nine PR and Marketing team bringing with her 17 years’ experience working in web-design and marketing. Her core skills as a web and graphic designer as well as creative photographer bring additional talents to the Cloud Nine PR team.
Sheriden has worked with a range of organisations from national exhibition companies, publishers, service providers and manufacturers to provide a range of consolidated marketing campaigns across several mediums.
