A Major is a family run instrument and sheet music business, with a store in Trentham Shopping Village. We sell instruments, sheet music and accessories to teachers, students, hobbyists, people just experimenting with music, and seasoned players alike. We are practicing musicians ourselves, and understand the industry, which is why we have the respect of so many music teachers in the area.
We are all about learning and playing music. Sure, we are a business, and we sell stuff, but we also have many initiatives to help you choose the right instrument, and to help you, your children or your students progress. We are here to help, to offer advice, and to constantly try to provide services and products that get you starting out, practicing and mastering your instrument.
With the launch of the new website clearly we want you to be able to find what you want, and buy from us, but our shop is a place for help, advice, and to discuss what you might need.

We are also the only Yamaha Authorised Dealer for Woodwind and Brass in the Stoke-on-Trent area. We are also an authorised dealer for electronic keyboards and the Arius Digital Piano range.

We sell a wide range of starter and intermediate instruments, and work with local music teachers to stock all the exam and syllabus titles you might need. And of course, we stock all the accessories you may need to go with them.
