Dermal Fillers also referred to as facial fillers assist in the increase of hydration, improve facial volume and help with skin quality. Dermal fillers are clinically approved for the treatment of the face, lips, neck, décolletage, hands and the feet.
One of the most popular non-permanent dermal fillers is Hyaluronic Acid based. Hyaluronic Acid naturally occurs in the body, and it helps to hold in water. The more Hyaluronic Acid the body has within its tissues, the more plump the skin looks.
Dermal Fillers help to reduce the signs of ageing and counteract volume loss to areas of the face and body. For example, the appearance of the cheeks will benefit from dermal fillers as the filler restores a fuller curve to the upper portion of the cheek softening the appearance of folds and lines lower down the face.
As our skin gets thinner, the underlying structures in our hands become more obvious and people often complain that their hands have become veiny. These injectable products, fill fine lines and plump up wrinkles and folds to provide a smooth and natural look. Having prominent veins can make people very self conscious about their age. People’s age can often be given away by looking at their hands. Dermal fillers can hydrate dry skin and help make the hands look plumper and younger.
