ABOUT HIPPOKAMPOS LTD

Hippokampos offers gentle osteopathic treatment for horses. Mary Bolingbroke and Mary Monro (known as “The Marys”) are experienced Registered Osteopaths with a passion for the health and welfare of horses. Using our knowledge and skill in cranial osteopathy (with over 40 years experience between us) we assess each horse’s health in terms of its history, current physical imbalances and mental and emotional wellbeing. We know that a horse can only perform to his/her best ability with a body in peak condition and a relaxed, confident state of mind. It helps if the rider is in good health too, so we also offer osteopathic care to riders.

We are based in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. You will usually have both Mary B and Mary M to treat your horses. Occasionally other osteopaths join us or we ask one of our colleagues to substitute if a Mary is away. Between us we have over 40 years experience and we combine our skills so that our work is as efficient and effective as possible.

You must have the permission of your vet before arranging an appointment with us. We will need the vet’s name and contact details so that we can confirm that permission has been granted.
