Materials Recovery Limited is accredited to ISO 9001:2008 and work with a variety of clients throughout the UK offering a one-stop shop for Total Waste Management and trading of Recyclable Materials. This not only saves on the cost of disposing of general product waste but also allows many companies to maximise revenue from the sale of recyclable materials from previously non-recoverable waste streams.
Materials Recovery Limited is built upon the solid foundation of industry knowledge through the experience of the two directors, David Lloyd and Updesh Gidda who have worked in the industry for over 25 years. They have extensive experience from Site Operations, Sales and Account Management, Supply Chain and Procurement, Materials Trading within the UK and Export markets and the supply of tailored recycling equipment and machinery to various industries.
David has over 18 years working experience within the recycling industry. He was Initially employed by a large national recycling company for over 9 years as a Recycling Advisor moving on to National Accounts and then Supply Chain Manager, the latter managing third party service providers with a budgetary spend of over £30 million.
In 2009 David helped set up a new Waste Management brokering business in London and this proved immensely successful. He then joined MRL as a director in January 2014 with the current owners/Directors to help extend recycling services to include Materials Trading and the supply and maintenance of Recycling Machinery.
Having set up Materials Recovery Ltd in 2011 to not only offer Total Waste and Recycling services but also to extend the company’s offering into trading of bulk commodities. This has built and enhanced relationships with Local authorities, Large Waste Management Companies and MRF operators.
Jonathan joined MRL in March 2014 through the Apprenticeship Programme as an Office Administrator. This was an extremely diverse role that entailed anything from day-to-day communication with customers, suppliers, operators and buyers, working on different customer accounts, dealing and processing invoices and much more. This lead Jonathan onto his next role within the company as Commercial Manager.
Angela has a solid administration background and has proven ability to complete tasks with diligence within in a variety of different business environments. Her professional and engaging manner will ensure MRL clients and suppliers receive the highest level of Customer Service.
As well as buying and selling recyclable materials, MRL provide a variety of new and used recycling equipment and machinery.
