North Valley Metal - Who we are and what we do
Established in 1966, NVM has not forgotten its roots and is the largest supplier of Industrial Roller Shutter Components in the UK, supplying Castings, Engineered Products, Transmission & Gearing and Chain Operated Shutter Components, backed by a wealth of experience that only 50 years in the industry can bring, and we are proud to be the oldest supplier to this market in the country.
Many of the electrical products we supply are a natural progression from our Manually Operated Shutter products, such as our range of Direct Drive Motors, Tube Motors, Flange Motors and Fire Shutter Motors to our Garage Door Systems, Control Systems and so on.
But we also made a concious decision to offer the widest range of products we possibly can and with this in mind we introduced an in depth range of quality Automated Swing and Sliding Gate products from Italy and range of Automated Entrance Systems including Swing Door Operators and Auto Sliding Doors, all fully supported with Sensors, Access Control and Safety Control.
The final piece in our jigsaw was the introduction of our High Speed Door range of products. These include Rapid Roll Up Doors, Fold Up Doors and Doors specifically designed for the Food Industry, all supported by an extensive range of Spares and backed up with Technical support by qualified High Speed Door Engineers.
It is true that North Valley Metal has come a long way since it introduced castings to the fledgeling shutter market in 1966. But one thing has always remained the same, our desire to serve our customers and offer the widest possible choice of quality products we can.
We believe in serving you, the customer, with good stock support to meet the fluctuating demands of todays production needs. Production is geared to quick turn around of orders, large or small, and is capable of supplying bespoke replacement parts for urgent breakdown repairs on a next day service. None urgent goods are despatched using a competitive local transport service or where possible delivered using our own vehicles.
Since it’s inception in 1966, the company has diversified into the fabrication market and boasts a manufacturing plant dedicated to the production of gates, railings and architectural street furniture, complimented by a fully equipped in house paint shop.
