Manning and Woods Ltd. is a new company formed by the merger of Mannings Ltd. and Simon Woods Property Maintenance.
Mannings Ltd was formed in 2001 by another merger of two family companies, which had been building houses and doing specialist property maintenance in the Stowmarket area since the 1960s. Karl Manning and Gary Ager were apprenticed by their fathers when leaving school and have many years of valuable knowledge and experience between them.
Simon has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, having been apprenticed to a boat builder in Lowestoft before joining his own father’s building firm. He then worked for a number of the country’s leading house builders before deciding to set up his own business.
Karl works closely with Simon on the building side of the business, and manages our regular commercial maintenance contracts with various local schools, businesses and landowners.
Claire worked in the insurance industry for 20 years before joining Simon in his business venture. Claire now runs the Manning and Woods office.
Graham ran his own successful UPVC business for many years until recently retiring. Graham now works for Manning & Woods as our UPVC Consultant conducting our surveys and advising our customers when it comes to conservatories windows and UPVC doors
