Original Sash Window Solutions was founded by Roger in 2007. We began trading in the Cheltenham and Stroud areas and earned an excellent reputation in all aspects of sash window draught-proofing and renovation.
Gary is a highly qualified carpenter and joiner who has spent his entire working life – 18 years since qualification – draught-proofing, repairing and renovating sash windows (previously for the market leading national company). He has worked on countless period properties of all kinds and was even the head fitter on many of the infamous windows of Bath’s Royal Crescent. We estimate that he has draught-proofed over 10,000 sash windows and replaced about 4,000 cills, so we feel that he has the relevant experience!
Before joining us in 2015 Nigel already had 12 years experience working with Gary on sash windows – and they still seem to like each other! He has extensive restoration experience in other areas too (in particular antique furniture) and his work is consistently excellent. He completely shares our company’s values.
which is run by Trading Standards. We discovered that, unlike the many similar but usually profit-making schemes, this is the most rigorous in its initial requirements and also makes us the most accountable to our customers.
N.B All work is carried out by Roger, Gary, Nigel and Tom, from survey through to completion, so we are very confident that we can maintain our standards.
