Welcome to Community-Minded Ltd! We are a not-for-profit limited company based in Old Moat Ward, South Manchester dedicated to supporting children and adults with education, play and leisure.
Community-Minded Ltd. is a not-for-profit community enterprise and registered as a company limited by guarantee, with three directors (one of which is non-executive) and a Management Advisory Committee consisting of eleven members, six of which are parents living in Old Moat.
We are currently in the process of applying for charitable status.
We provide services for adults from our Learning Hub which is based at Old Moat Sure Start Children's Centre. We offer courses, workshops and learning opportunities for adults living in Old Moat and Withington.
We provide services to children from our community hub in Old Moat Primary School. Community-Minded Ltd. offers full childcare services to children aged 9 months to 11 years, including playgroup, out-of-school club, playscheme and holidaycare.
The charity also has a wide range of courses available including a cooking & taste classes, employability courses, a work club, family forum services, debt solution workshops and volunteering support and opportunities. Community-Minded Ltd. also work in partnership with local professional and statutory agencies to offer support and signposting to other services.
