Apprentice trained, Mike holds engineering and business degrees and has over 40 years of International experience working in various senior operational management roles.
Operating across a wide range of engineering and manufacturing sectors from transportation to environmental management he has a wealth of experience in helping businesses increase employee skills, improve productivity, quality whilst achieving significant increases in turnover and profitability.
Highly analytical and results focused, he thrives on difficult and challenging situations, drawing on his experience and expertise across strategy development and deployment, manufacturing, product/process development, leadership and organisational development.
Passionate about strengthening links between education and industry, a school governor, he actively supports the development of school Imagineering clubs encouraging pupils at an early age to take an interest in engineering and science principles through hands-on model making. He also dedicates time to mentoring aspiring engineers both at undergraduate and post graduate levels.
