The story of Woollcott Removals began in the summer of 1943 from very humble beginnings.
Mr Frank Woollcott a cattle and livestock haulier with one vehicle, a tiny office and outbuildings expanded his business taking on the opportunity to move household goods; before long his excellent service and abilities to carry out domestic removals overtook the livestock side of things and Woollcott Removals and Storage was founded.
The business grew from strength to strength developing a team of professional friendly staff providing an excellent service. A thriving successful removal and storage company with an enviable reputation for unrivalled customer care.
In 1991 Frank retired and two loyal members of staff Robin and Trevor took over the running of the company continuing with the same values and service adding new dimensions as the client base expanded, this led to an ever increasing demand for storage and resulted in our move in 1998 to our larger premises at Four Ashes with purpose built secure storage facilities.
Four Ashes is close to the M6 and M54 motorway networks making our current site an optimum position for both local and national removals and easily accessible for all storage requirements.
Our beginnings were a family feel company and to this day we maintain the same ethos and values, the passion and enthusiasm amongst our staff is second to none.
In 2011 Bryan and Craig two long serving highly experienced members of Robin’s staff with over 40 years combined experience in the removal industry took over the company.
Under their directive the company carries forward all the values that Woollcott Removals have always maintained and with a forward thinking united team Woollcott Removals moves onwards with pride into the 21st century – Offering you the very best you can get
