About Trafficlear
Trafficlear is based in Huddersfield, Yorkshire.
Our Philosophy
We try our best to provide you with exactly what you need; for a one-off vehicle or a production run of many. We are here to help.
We start by fully understanding what you are trying to achieve; then using our extensive knowledge, experience and a brilliant mix of products and contacts, we specify appropriate products and the correct installation method.
Everything we sell is of the very highest quality – we work on the principle that if our products are installed correctly, it’s a case of “fit and forget” – they just work without causing you any worries.
The company history runs like this …. Dave started the company in 2010, working out of his garage, mainly selling lightbars and beacons; Sam joined him as an investor and mentor in 2011 to focus on the newly acquired Ideatec exclusive distributorship; then Sam asked Andy to help in 2012.
The company has changed dramatically over the last three years – it’s now much more technical, with the emphasis on helping customers specify the right products, then also offering advice with installation and commissioning.
It’s been tough but now the hard work and challenging decisions are paying dividends. We have some great products and some great customers.
Qualified Accountant and Ex Managing Director of a £5M turnover distribution business, Sam has a perfect balance of business acumen and customer empathy, believing that a company must invest in its customers to get the best possible return – unusual for an accountant !!
Trafficlear has a strong relationship with the Recovery market, in the first few years of its trading having supplied lots of ‘Amber’ – mainly light bars to many recovery operators.
Not only do we now provide the utra-bright range of Woodway Whelen LED amber warning lights, we also provide Wilderness LED scene and road lighting for extreme conditions; and the Ideatec range of easy to use controllers.
Trafficlear distributes a good selection of products for the Emergency Services market.
In particular the Ideatec GO112 touch screen programmable controller is becoming the product of choice for the private ambulance market – because for converters it’s so quick and easy to install and programme … and for end-users on front line duty, it’s so quick and easy to operate – automating many actions, allowing drivers and paramedics to do what they do best.
Other products we supply include rugged touch screen tablets, integrated into a GO112 installation.
Our diverse product range can be used on all types of vehicles that work on our highways (and by-ways); from a simple pair of synchronised beacons on a delivery truck; to an Arrow Board on a Highways Officer vehicle; through to a full installation of lightbars, work-lights, interior lights, arrow panel, racking and switches on a line painting truck – all ultra-reliable, so your vehicles and staff are kept productive and safe.
