Orangehouse Audio Visual was founded in May 2011 from a chance meeting of two people with a shared passion for audio and video and the desire to make it easy for anyone to control and to use. Although a relatively young company we have the experience, skills and ambition to take on projects big and small.
Ian has worked in the hi-fi industry for over 25 years with a vast amount of retail audio experience. From humble beginnings working at Peterborough's leading Hi-Fi retailer, Ian has continually proved himself to be an expert in all things audio, from high end two-channel stereo for audiophiles to distributed multi-room systems. Ian believes that the three most important thing about any business are customer service, customer service and customer service. If you are a Hi-Fi enthusiast and live in the Peterborough / Stamford area then there is a good chance that you may have already have crossed paths with Ian whose reputation is second to none.
With a background in IT and electronics Karl is a self confessed geek. Karl started programming computers and designing electronic circuits whilst at school in the early eighties, then pursued these interests further with an honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham. Following a successful software development career in the City of London, culminating in the 2008 sale of an international financial IT company he co-founded, Karl has chosen to pursue a range of opportunities closer to his home in Stamford. , Orangehouse Audio Visual has allowed Karl to return to his core passions of electronics and computing. If your project requires something that is a little unusual or outside the ordinary then rest assured that Karl has the skills to make sure that it can be done!

We are leading Control4 integrators and provider of bespoke multi room audio and HD video distribution, home cinema, lighting / shade control, heating / ventilation control, security and home automation systems in the East Midlands and East Anglia. We are based in Stamford, just west of Peterborough, within easy reach of Cambridge, Northampton, Leicester and Nottingham. We are also happy to do work in and around London, but because we don't carry the overheads of being based in London we are sure you will find our installation rates very competitive!
Whether you are looking for a single room system, a new home cinema (possibly a converted loft, basement or garage), or a complete home automation system, we are able to offer expert advice and a design and installation service that will ensure you have the system of your dreams that will be the envy of all your friends.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide a complete yet flexible service, regardless of your scale or budget. We are happy to work either directly with you, or if preferred with your architect or primary contractor. However we are engaged, the same care, attention, and personal approach will be maintained throughout the process, from initial planning and design through to installation and after care.
