We believe at Hadrian Vets we have the best team of veterinary staff in the area, ensuring exceptional standards of care and advice to you and your pets.

We are all animal lovers and you can be sure that your pet, whilst in our care, will receive unrivalled treatment and attention, so much so that they will love coming to the vets!

It was in July 1968 that after graduating from Glasgow Veterinary School that Eric set off with enthusiasm to start his first job in practice. Bound for Hexham to work for "Pickering & Co" an established family practice based at "Orchard House". "Pickering & Co" became "Hadrian Vets" after moving premises from Orchard House to Orchard Place then to its present day location at Dene Avenue.

Wendy has had a close association with the practice for 40 years. Having worked in general practice and medical research, she has an understanding of all aspects of veterinary practice and aims to provide our clients with excellent service and that all important ‘personal touch'.

Elizabeth qualified in 2005 and has worked up and down the country before resting at Hadrian Vets in September 2010. Elizabeth enjoys all aspects of her job and when not working she is busy looking after her family. Elizabeth enjoys walking and biking with her family. She has a pet cat called ‘kitkat’.

Rachel joined Hadrian Vets in 2007 and enjoys every aspect of her work. When not at work Rachel spends her time with her husband and two small children as well as her brood of cats and horses.
