He started out working at John Michaels Jewellery Repair shop where he quickly learnt the basics of the trade. From there he joined FH Lamberts in 1983 where he was soon placed in charge of the polishing operation. As with any form of finishing, these skills take many many years to perfect. When Daryl joined Eddie Flower back in 1988, little did he know that he would end up buying the company in 2008 with colleague, Lee White. The company was growing steadily until late 2010 when Lee was tragically taken from us. Daryl And Lee had built the business into a World Class facility and between them they secured multiple new contracts and built many great relationships with new clients. 2011 was a tough year for everyone involved but with support from clients, staff & family the business continues to progress. "Without Lee's dedication & hard work, I never would have been in the position I am today. But more than that, Lee was a great friend and I miss him bitterly" Daryl Lewis.
In 2012, Daryl decided to re-name the company Osprey Metal Finishers Limited. If you are already a customer of ours, you will have already met Daryl. He is always at the reigns and normally the first face you see when you walk through our doors. Some say he is a control freak.....but the preferred phrase is 'perfectionist'.

Paul joined ET Flowers back in 2004 and specialized in the antique department. He worked here for 3 years before leaving to persue a different career. When Daryl & Lee took over the business, Paul was asked to re-join them to look after production in all areas of the business. From 2009 to date, Paul has been pivotal in the growing success of the company and has now taken the role of lacquerer & quality control. Nothing less than perfection will get past his close final inspection.
