Several years ago we set out to build a company that makes learning fun. By designing primary creative curriculum resources that truly engage, we can enable every school to bring out the best in their pupils…
We are continually adding to our core group of staff and currently benefit from the expertise of former headteachers, teachers, teaching and learning consultants and an Early Years specialist. We employ a full-time graphic designer and animator, as well as a business manager. We are all professionals who are reliable, caring and, very importantly, creative!
Dimensions is the answer to many of the problems she faced as a teacher and every product is designed with the needs of teachers at the heart. We believe in what we sell and the primary creative curriculum model that Elaine has developed, along with her team, has re-invigorated many teachers.
We provide a bespoke consultancy service, tailored to meet the needs of your school. We also provide TLC packages (Teaching and Learning Consultancy, of course!) that are designed to help schools improve teaching and learning.
Cluster Meetings provide a great opportunity for those working in Dimensions schools to get together, share good practice and look at new resources. We will post forthcoming dates here so watch this space!
Every school is unique and important to us. We care about teachers and their well-being. We understand the squeeze of budget cuts. So, we price our resources competitively and offer payment plans to suit any budget. In the event of budgetary constraints, we’ll try our very best to come up with a solution to help your school afford our invaluable resources. We try and make sure Dimensions is affordable to every school and, once in place, has the maximum impact on teaching and learning.
3D PSHE Citizenship Programme is a wonderful resource and is easy to use. It fits with the development matters for EYFS and all PSHE aspects throughout the primary curriculum - including recent updates for Prevent. The programme is interactive and "hands on" getting the children engaged and involved who have enjoyed using it throughout the year. The provided lesson plans can be used independently or to support the SEAL programme already in school - so great for teachers and saves time on planning!
"The school’s recently revised curriculum is interesting, broad and well balanced. Your carefully chosen revisions to the curriculum for subjects other than English and mathematics engage all learners, but particularly boys. Teachers make good use of practical experiences to engage pupils in learning about abstract concepts. For example, in a computing lesson, pupils developed their skills in creating and debugging algorithms through the production of a jam sandwich." (Daisyfield Primary School, Blackburn; Ofsted Short Inspection report December 2017)
“The Ofsted inspection reflected a huge improvement in our past performance. They were impressed with all aspects of the school and could see the curriculum work we are doing through Dimensions has made a big difference. They were particularly impressed with the marking programmes and the fact that the children were able to explain how they worked and implement next steps themselves. There is no doubt that Dimensions has had a hugely positive impact on raising standards.”
