Bettersight remains active in investigating the prospect of working with more clinical facility providers in particular to help widen the geographical scope of our services.
Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Trust is one of the best performing NHS trusts in the Yorkshire region. The two hospitals – Calderdale Royal Hospital (that replaced the old Halifax Royal Infirmary) and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary cater for a local population of over 500,000.
The Ophthalmology departments in these two hospitals are well equipped and Bettersight via its medical director Mr Shafiq Rehman who is also Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at these two hospitals, has full access to all facilities.
Bettersight works closely with many clinical partners across the whole of the north of England. We are proud to receive recommendations and referrals across a large swathe of the country. As part of our overall drive to improving access to high quality surigcal eye care services we are always keen to develop closer collaborative partnerships both with GP practices and Optometrist practices.
We succeeded in bringing together over half a centuries worth of high level surgical epxerience with a strong motivation to working collaboratively, primarily to help advance the science of advanced vision correction treatments. Bettersight believe that working together in this kind of framework is of undoubted value to all our patients.
We are genuinely proud to have some
