NJP Welding Ltd has been trading for the past 20 years. Prior to that, Nick Plant started as a one man self employed mobile welding company, looking after the Cornwall Fishing Fleet throughout the South West and also looking after a lot of heavy plant back in the days of ECLP. He also did a lot of work on the agricultural side too.
As the previous industries began to decline, Nick looked at diversifying his skills into the construction industry, both for structural works and stainless steel fabrication. With a workforce of 8 fully skilled local lads and 2 apprentices, NJP Welding Ltd are now specialists in glass, stainless steel fabrication for staircases, spiral staircases and bespoke balconies, based at Lanvean Workshop, St Mawgan. NJP Welding Ltd also work with copper, brass, lead and zinc designs, and offer full structural steel fabrication with galvanizing and powder coating services for any project and welcome all enquiries.
NJP Welding Ltd are large enough to tackle major projects whilst still bringing the same high standards to smaller jobs. Every contract we undertake is directly supervised by Nick, who sees the project through from initial contact with the client to the completion of work on site. This degree of personal service, provided in equal measure to projects of all sizes, is greatly appreciated by our clients.
We have a strong repeat clientele list and we have worked on some very interesting developments throughout the South West with local Breweries, local dairy product factories, the local candle factory as well as the finer kitchens/restaurants here in the South West. We have completed heritage projects on our local schools and churches and are still working with what is left of the Newquay and Padstow fishing industries.
