ABOUT SBC TRAINING LIMITED

The welfare of young people and vulnerable adults is of primary concern. SBC aims to provide information, advice and guidance and, where required, support to both learners and staff who feel that their safety has been compromised.   In the event that an individual becomes vulnerable, they are able to speak to their trainer/assessor initially who will enlist the support of either of the designated Safeguarding managers; Mrs Christine Haycocks and Mrs Alison Roberts.

SBC has access to a considerable amount of information concerning learners and employers and all staff are fully aware of the need for this information to be treated both respectfully and in the strictest confidence.  Information provided will be put onto a computerised database at SBC Training and at the Skills Funding Agency and is subject to the rules and requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

SBC Training Ltd operates as a lead provider. Some provision is delivered via subcontractor organisations to enable the provision of a wider choice of appropriate Apprenticeship frameworks to employers and learners. All providers undergo appropriate due diligence processes prior to undertaking any delivery. Please find SBC's current sub-contract arrangements
