Here at Binder Loams, based in Ongar Essex, we are committed to providing a quality product in all areas of turf dressings and topsoil.

This website sets out a large range of our products. We supply everyone from a local house owner to our most famous customer, Lord’s Cricket ground. Our products range from our standard BS3882:2007 compliant 20mm Screened Topsoil to our widely recognised 4mm Screened Ongar Loam™ Cricket Top Dressing.

In March 1996 we were the first company in our field to achieve a Registered Trade Mark. This was awarded to ONGAR LOAM™, our Test and County Cricket Pitch Dressing.

In April 2011 Binders was taken over by a local company who have worked alongside Binders since the 1990s. Retaining all original staff, the synergies between the two companies now means Binders excellent service can be maintained and even improved whilst maintaining the service you, as our customers, have grown accustomed to. Our renewed fleet of HGV mounted pallet forklifts and diverse array of tippers means any load, big or small can be catered for, loose or bagged.

We accept nothing but the highest quality virgin topsoil to our Ongar depot generally sourced from agricultural or recreational fields. We visit each site before sending the soil for testing and compatibility with our products before importing any material. By accepting no recycled material we can ensure our products remain contaminant free at all times. Each stockpile of soil at Binders offers 100% traceability.
