Bernadette started her career as a Solicitor before redirecting to become Director of one of the region’s leading independent legal recruitment consultancies. She developed a successful business in a competitive environment.
Advising lawyers and law firms, from major internationals to entrepreneurial boutique partnerships, she supported leaders and entrepreneurs on focused objectives, strategy and talent retention.
As a Director, she understands leadership and the challenges of building a successful business in a competitive market. Motivated, talented individuals within an organisation make the difference between success and failure, and maximising their potential is no longer a “nice to have” but a “must have”.
Bernadette holds Post Graduate qualification from Leeds Metropolitan University in Business and Executive Coaching. She is an Associate Member of the Association for Coaching, a Member of EMCC and Business Member of the Association of Business Psychologists.
On a personal note, Bernie enjoys a challenge and reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, raising money for a children’s home in Zimbabwe. Taking a sabbatical, she returned to the Kilimanjaro Region with a local charity, looking at improving training for teachers, and liaising with small businesses and womens’ projects.

– Julia qualified as a Corporate Solicitor with Clifford Chance in 1996, then in 2006 transitioned into the corporate world, becoming Legal & Governance Director (International) of RSA. As a senior leader, she has operated at Board level in a complex organization and led teams through change. Julia holds a BSc (Econ) from LSE, is an Organisational Coach from Ashridge Business School and is trained in MBTI profiling. In addition to 1:1 Coaching, Julia is involved in our workshops on Equality & Diversity, and women as leaders.
