ABOUT DEBDALE WHARF MARINA LIMITED
We are a family run concern with over 40 years experience in the narrowboating industry. The business was formed by Ian Goode in 1969 when he started building hire boats for Hoseasons. In 1974 Ian bought the current site here at Debdale Wharf and was joined by his son Mike. Business expanded to include the building and repair of private boats, with Mike rapidly establishing a reputation for company’s high quality craftmanship and engineering expertise.
We are proud to be able to offer the widest range of services for your narrowboat in our section of the Grand Union. In addition to our marina moorings and hardstanding area, we have our own engineering workshop in which our skilled, qualified engineers can carry out all of your boat maintenance and repair requirements, including boat mechanics, gas, electrics, carpentry, plumbing and boat fit-outs or refurbishment. Hull blacking can be done here and we are one of the few places able to black the base plate as well as the sides. We can black for you or you can book a DIY weekend.
