In the mid-1990s, when the Internet was young, and the young were embracing the Internet, I founded PCSimple for the purpose of introducing the over-55s to the World Wide Web.
I met my wife, Berni, when working in Sheringham Woolworths in my teens; I married her, and we’ve been together ever since. Our son, Luke, an Engineering graduate, is a design engineer for McLaren, and our daughter, Nikki – a graduate of The University of East Anglia, with experience in customer service – joined me in the business five years ago as Shop Manager.
Like many others, we sell new and refurbished computers, and we service and repair computers. But PCSimple’s main product is Customer Service. We know that you won’t get the very cheapest equipment from PCSimple, but customers return again and again to us, because we look after them. This is what PCSimple has been about right from the beginning, and we’re proud to be known for exceptional customer care and trustworthiness.

Whatever the problem – worn-out hardware components, virus-infected software, or a build-up of dust – the PCSimple technician will give you a clear explanation of the fault and the proposed remedial procedure. If the problem can’t be fixed, you won’t be charged (although a diagnosis fee may still apply).
In cases that concern software, PCSimple technicians can offer a virtual ‘home visit’ – a remote diagnostic and remedial service. With your permission, a PCSimple technician will access your computer from the workshop in order to sort out the problem.
