RUSSELL BARNES
Russell Barnes has been directing documentaries for over 20 years, often in partnership with intellectual heavyweights such as Niall Ferguson, Richard Dawkins and David Reynolds. Credits include the Grierson-nominated history films Armistice and 1941 and the Man of Steel and the Bafta and Emmy award winner The Virtual Revolution for BBC2. Russell also directed Channel 4’s Broadcast Award-winning Genius of Charles Darwin, the CGI-driven global hit Extinct and the revisionist history series Empire.
Molly Milton has been making award-winning documentaries for twenty years, specialising in landmark specialist factual science, history and technology series. Credits include the Bafta and Emmy award-winning series The Virtual Revolution for BBC2 and The Open University, a first draft history of the world wide web. Molly also directed Faith Schools Menace? for Channel 4, presented by Richard Dawkins, and series made directly for the US market. These include – Download: The True Story of the Internet, a four part series for Discovery presented by John Heilemann. Weird Connections for Discovery Science and Junkyard Wars for TLC.
Alex Brisland has several years experience in factual development and production. He has worked on history films for the BBC and C4, and has edit produced short wildlife films with David Attenborough. He has developed numerous science, natural history, arts and history ideas, and has won important commissions with major UK and US channels.

Clare Burns spent three years at Uden Associates before leaving the nest for the freelance world, working for, amongst others, Science Pictures, Discovery Europe, Grain Media, Proudfoot TV and Twenty Twenty. She joined Clearstory as Production Manager on BBC4’s 3 part series Utopia: In Search of the Dream, and is currently Production Managing Clearstory’s latest slate of commissions.
